New innovative wireless technology event announced
23 October 2007
Our Centre is delighted to be hosting the launch of both Bedfordshire and Luton's Assistive Technology services on Tuesday 30th October 2007 from 10am to 3pm.
This FREE event is open to everyone, professionals and the general public. The equipment will be available to view and try, and expert advice will be on hand.
Do you know someone who is forgetful?

Do you know someone who is at risk of falling? For peace of mind for individuals, carers, relatives and friends, there is a range of sensors readily available which are linked via your telephone to a control centre. The sensors are placed wirelessly around the home and can act both as reminders and to call for assistance in the event of an emergency. The safety devices have been developed to support independent living at home and indeed have helped to prevent admission to residential care in many cases. Not everyone needs the full range of equipment - maybe just one item can help. This equipment is readily available via the Bedfordshire Telecare Service and Luton Telelink Care Services following assessments of need.
To see this innovative equipment, there is an Information Day to be held at The Disability Resource Centre at
