Chief Executive to speak at Embrace Equality event
05 October 2007
In partnership with Beds CC, Luton Borough Council, Remploy and "Luton Positive About Business", Mick Dillon, our Chief Executive will be a keynote speaker at the forthcoming Embrace Equality event to be held at Putteridge Bury Conference Centre, at 7.30am on 24th October 2007.
The breakfast event, entitled "Think Ability Not Disability" will be opened by Margaret Moran MP, and will offer a wide range of advice on both the recruitment and retention of anyone with a disabilty or a long term health issue.
Mick Dillon will discuss his personal experiences of having a disability within the workplace, together with the best practise approach of The Disabilty Resource Centre, where at any one time, between 20-30 people with disabilities are involved in the organisations strategic and operational roles.
