On Monday 3rd September, the Centre welcomed its Patron, his Grace, The Duke of Bedford, to Dunstable to formally open our new training and conference facilities.

In front of over 50 invited guests and staff, together with BBC radio and local newspapers, The Duke of Bedford formally opened The Woburn Suite, to the delight of all concerned.

The Woburn Suite was designed, project managed and funded in house, and now acts as a major training and conference venue for both businesses, statutory agencies and the voluntary sector alike.

His Grace commented that "The Suite looks fantastic and is a great credit to Nadia Deadman (Chair of the Board of Trustees), Mick Dillon (Chief Executive) and all the team. I am sure it will provide enormous benefit to many organisations......"

To conclude the event, the dignitaries were then shown around our facilities, where they met staff and learnt more about our range of services offered.
