Carnival Bear winners announced

We are pleased to announce the winners of our Name the Bears competition, held on Monday 7th May at the Dunstable Carnival.

After many weeks of unbroken sunshine the weather decided to show us how quickly it can change and gave us a real challenge on Monday. Although the morning was peppered with heavy showers, wind and sunshine, the afternoon was a little more favourable.

The stall attracted a good number of enquires for disability information, as well as the chance to win one of three wonderful bears.

The winners of the Name the Bears competitions were as follows:

Bear A: Won by Mr Ferris

Bear B: Won by Mr S. Ibbett

Bear C: Won by T. Rhodes

Mr Ferris has kindly donated the Bear back to us, for our November Quiz Night raffle.

Our thanks go to all our staff and volunteers for all their dedication and hard work, to the Mayor of Dunstable for drawing the winning names last week, to the suppliers of the Bears and finally to all you who visited our stall or made a donation. Thank you.
