Bedford River Festival success
22 July 2008
Our partnership venture with Bedford Borough Council and Beds County Council, has been heralded as a major success.
The recent Bedford River Festival, held over the weekend of July 12th and 13th has seen record numbers of enquiries and community conversations by our volunteers, staff and Trustees with festival goers.
Over the two days, we actively engaged with or provided general information to over 3,000 individuals, who were either enquiring about our services or our role as Bedfordshire and Lutons leading independent disability information and advice providers.
Nadia Deadman, Chair of the Board of Trustees said "...the River Festival was extremely succesful. I would lke to thank all those who attended and gave their time to help in this way."
