Disability Awareness and Etiquette

The course encourages individuals to explore thier current understanding of disability, as well as the attitudes of society to people with disabiliites.

Using a combination of action and  experiential learning, individuals will in a controlled way, begin to understand some of the key issues facing people with disabilties, on a day to day basis.

The training includes discussion and guidance on both appropriate language and current disabilty legislation, before a topical disability word association session concludes the course.

Training can be either half or full day, located at either Poynters House or in the delegates own work place.
