Outreach

What it is

The Information Outreach Project aims to reach as many communities in Bedfordshire and Luton as possible, particularly disabled and older people living in rural areas and those from black and minority ethnic groups who may have extra difficulties in finding the information they need.

  • We take the information service out and about to groups, clubs, health centres, village halls, supermarkets...in fact almost anywhere
  • We would like to hear from other disabled people or those with long term health problems who may be interested in becoming a volunteer.
  • Project volunteers gain a great deal, make new friends and learn new skills.
  • Your particular interests, experience or skills will be put to good use.
  • Out of pocket expenses i.e. travel costs are paid

To find out about volunteering or to book a visit from the project please contact the Outreach Project Co-ordinator on 01582 470900 or click here
